Stryfe and Milly Thompson. An ominous figure approaches Vash on a bright sunny day, this man's name is Legato Bluesummers,
and he has been sent by a person named Knives, a shadow from Vash's painful past.

meets up with the mysterious priest Nicholas D. Woolfwood. Not only that, Vash must face his past as Legato
Bluesummers sends the deadliest gang "The Gung Ho Guns" after him. Vash's past is catching up to
him, and Vash's brother Millions Knives resurfaces to meet him.

of July city, and now an enormous crater in the 5th moon. Two years have passed with no trace of Vash the
Stampede. When Wolfwood stumbles upon a town and finds Vash disguised under another identity. Wolfwood tells
Vash of what Knives has done in the past 2 years, and Vash must pursue him or more people will be killed, if not all.

Either though Vash has defeated 3 of the Gung Ho Guns, more remain to hunt him down. Knives'
has given an order for every Gung Ho Gun to cause Vash the "ultimate suffering". Vash's secluded home is discovered
by the Gung Ho Guns, and it is later to be revelaed as a spaceship of the "Lost Technology". This is also a home
to hundreds of people, and Vash must do what he can to protect them without breaking his moral code to never kill anyone.

As Vash and Woolfwood arrive at Vash's home, the crashed spaceship, they are confronted by two Gung
Ho Guns. Wolfwood fights with Vash and the two must overcome their demonish foes. Meryl and Milly also catch up
to the action and lend their helping hands in saving the ship. More is told of Vash's past, and it is confirmed that
Vash is not human and he has lived for more than 100 years wandering in his constant inner struggle of fulfulling
his idealogy to Rem.

At long last a radio message from Earth is received by Vash's home that preparations
are underway to reunite the two worlds. Amidst the short-lived celebration, Knives secretly destroys the communication
satallite. Three Gung Ho Guns are sent by Legato to continue Vash's suffering, and things turn out bad when Meryl is
taken hostage. Vash and Wolfwood enter into a showdown with the remaining Gung Ho Guns.

While in the midst of fighting, Vash's memory of July city is slowly forced out of him by one of the
Gung Ho Guns. When Legato himself enters the fray, all heroes and villains meet in a gundrawn standstill, and Vash's
body undergoes a powerful metamorphasis. Lost number 13 of the Gung Ho Guns reveales herself and puts an end to
the violent situation. Vash's deep remorse of the past reverses his dangerous metamorphosis.

As Knives witnesses the exploitation of his brethren by the humans, his agenda of vengeance and ascendance is
only emboldened. Vash must learn to overcome his guilt, regain his ideals, and continue on the path of living to
help humanity in the battle to come. Legato has his own plans, and he intends to pave a path of suffering for Vash
the Stampede. The last and deadliest of the Gung Ho Guns are summoned by Legato to complete this task.

Project "Seeds". A Mission of spreading humanity throughout the stars, and this is where the
origin of Vash and Knives begins. The story of Rem is told, the sole caretaker of Vash and Knives. The story
of Tesla is discovered, and from what they find, both brothers will never be the same again. Over 100 years have passed,
and Vash along with his close friend Wolfwood travel into the darkness of Knives' lair to confront him.

The Ark is released, a flying
vessel that carries Knives across the planet freeing his brethren and increasing his power. Soon humanity's
hope of survival will dry away. Trying in vain to change his brother's mind, Vash is helplessly left in confinement under
the watch of Legato. Wolfwood lends his awesome power to aid Vash and to face off against his
past, The Eye of Michael.

Wolfwood has fulfilled his last mission to the Eye of Michael, and with it his resignation. Wolfwood knows
the price of his betrayal, and he must depart from Vash to go save his family. The final summoned
Gung Ho Guns are both members of the Eye of Michael and they have a score to settle with Wolfwood. Wolfwood's power
and determination will be tested to their limits.

Wolfwood nears the brink of death, but unknown to him a friend appears to offer
his assistance. Vash and Wolfwood will come together to protect Wolfwood's family and put an end to the Gung Ho
Guns’ evil rampage. Wolfwood fights to bring back his childhood friend Livio, and in his efforts, he is finally
able to leave his home with fulfilled joy and peace.

The remaining survivors all gather together in the city of October, the last place
the Ark hasn't hit. In the most desperate of situations, the Pieces of Earth space fleet has arrived. Vash
and his new friend Livio come to the city of October and meet up with Meryl and Milly to plan for the final battle to come.

and Milly lend their helping hands to fight alongside Vash and come up with the best solution to stop the utter chaos that
engulfs the planet. The question is, can they do it in time?

Trigun comes to a close in this final volume. Vash with the assistance of his friends and family
find the method that will connect him to his brother. Humans learn of the pain they have caused to the plants, and the
joys that can still bind them together. Vash and Knives will come to their final battle. Will Vash remain
devoted to his love of Rem and humanity as he fights his only brother? Whatever happens, Vash the Stampede will
be revered as a legend the humanity and plants will always remember as long as history exists to tell of such people.
